To reset the Prepaid Meter follow the steps below:

1. enter 990 and press the green or blue button to confirm
2. then enter 8888 and confirm
3. finally enter 999 and confirm, you will see RESET message on the LCD screen
4. remove the plug under the meter box and plug it again.
5. Then enter the token given to you to recharge.

Alternatively if the above steps did not work for your meter try this.

1. press 990 then press enter. You’ll see a response.
2. 0000 enter. You’ll see “good”
3. 999 enter. You’ll get “reset”
4. remove the plug under the meter box and plug it again.
5. Then enter the token given to you to recharge.

Things to check once loading the prepaid meter is complete

Meter number: Are you confused on how to check your meter number easily, simply press 65 then the blue button and you will see the meter number which is the 11 digit numbers that will be shown you on the screen.

Total credit used: To check the total credit used, simply press 07 on the keypad then the blue button, you will receive a reply shortly

Balance: To check/know your remaining balance, just press “07” on the keypad followed by the blue button. You will be shown the available balance in this format. (200.16).
