Below are the procedures on how to transfer data from MTN to MTN, Airtel to Airtel, Glo to Glo and 9Mobile to 9Mobile.
To transfer Data from an MTN to MTN sim, ensure that you have at least 10MB (MegaByte). Navigate to your phone Dial press *131*7# or simply dial *131# and select the 7th option. Proceed and choose option 1 and click on send to continue. Now, Enter the phone number you will like to share your data bundle with
Airtel allows you to share a data plan with family and friends across phones, tablets and laptops. Data Me2U (aka Data Share): You can “share” from the data allowance of an already purchased data bundle to another customer. For example, if you have purchased a 1.5GB Monthly, you can send100MB to another customer.
N/B: there will be a deduction from your account for the data transfer on airtel
To activate: Dial *917#. Then Dial *229*pin*volume of mb*recipient’s number# e.g. *229*0000*40*08091234567#
N/B: the security pin is 0000.
To share or transfer Glo Data, dial *127*Data Plan Code*receiver’s number#. The Data Plan Code is 53 for Always Micro subscription.
SMS Guide.
To share o Glo Data through SMS, text “Gift (Data Plan Name) (Recipient Number)” example “Gift Always Micro 0805559xxxx” to 127.
